Delhi Development Authority (DDA) was formed under the Delhi Development Act way back in 1955. It was formed with the aim of promoting and securing the development of Delhi. After the housing projects by DDA came into existence in 1967 which provided construction of houses in Delhi along with basic needs supply for the people like water, sewage disposal, electricity etc. The construction of these houses is prevailing till date, keeping in mind the needs of the people and the different sections of the society.
