An insight into the Sea-Facing home of Sharman Joshi

The majority of us are familiar with Bollywood star Sharman Joshi, who has carved out a niche for himself in the business with both his comedic and serious roles. From Rang de Basanti to 3 Idiots to Mission Mangal, he has proven his mettle with his distinct acting style. His uniqueness reflects in his house as well. Sharman Joshi’s Mumbai home reflects his love of the sea, nature, and open space, as well as many other personalized items. His home perfectly blends his wife’s and his own tastes and preferences.

The actor lives in a 3 BHK apartment in Mumbai with his wife and children. The apartment offers a mesmerizing view of the Arabian Sea.

Sharman Joshi’s is situated on Sangeet Samrat Naushad Ali Road, which was previously known as Carter Road. He said that he always wanted to purchase a living space that he could call his own and where he could relax after a long and tiring day at work. However, while the majority of people prefer to live in rented homes, he feels a home is a necessary investment.

How Sharman Joshi found his house

Sharman and his wife, Prerna, had sorted their priorities while searching for their dream abode. A vast open expanse, green spaces, a playground for their kids, and sizeable rooms were some of their key considerations.

Fortunately, after a thorough search, they found their dream home on Carter Road, which exceeded all of their expectations. They had seen a few apartments before they finalized the house. In the meantime, they had begun to stay on lease for an extended period of time while looking for an apartment. Finally, a friend came to their aid and showed them the house they now live in, which met all of their expectations and needs.

How the Sharman Joshi House was Set Up

Keeping the modern theme in mind, the house is beautifully done up with exotic paintings adorning each wall of the house. Sharman’s wife is the daughter of famous Bollywood actor Prem Chopra and an art consultant, which makes it obvious that their house is loaded with art. Sharman shares about his favorite corners in the house, one is a french window in the living room, where he usually likes to read books. And another favorite corner of the house is a long-seating arrangement in his living room, where he spends quality time with friends and family.

Key considerations of Sharman Joshi while buying a house

  • Sharing his experience, Sharman Joshi suggests homebuyers prepare a checklist of the following things –
  • Do a thorough search in the market and get first-hand knowledge about the locality and different properties instead of relying on brokers or any other third party.
  • Ensure all of the legal documents are in place and hire a lawyer to do the same. Buying a house is once in a lifetime decision, so don’t hesitate to spend money on a lawyer to avoid any mistakes.
  • Don’t negotiate too hard, once your heart is set on a house because your dream house might slip out of your hands and make you regret that decision later.
  • Make a list of your needs and desires before searching for a house.
  • Make a comprehensive list of your priorities, and choose the house that fulfills your maximum expectations.

Sherman expressed his concern about the difficulties of purchasing a home in Mumbai. As he stated, being a celebrity does not always make it easier to find a home in this crowded city. Despite the fact that being a celebrity has several advantages. In his case, he had no trouble closing the deal because he bought a house from a friend, and society members were eager to welcome him and his family, but this may not always be the case. Regardless of celebrity status, there is a growing trust deficit between builders and potential homeowners today. As a result, purchasing your own home in this megacity comes with its own set of challenges. So, keep in mind the golden rules discussed in the blog on Sharman JJoshi’s house in Mumbai, and proceed with your decision.
