Don’t worry, we are going to shoo away all your confusions and will give you some awesome ideas to make your home look perfect for gatherings! Because, after all, Holi is all about spreading love!

Here are some home decor tips for Holi for a quick makeover –

BedroomsHoli seems like a very fresh festival as it is marks the beginning of summers as well as the harvesting of wheat. Therefore, it will be good to make your bedroom look fresh. And that doesn’t even need you to make a hole in your pocket! Bring lots of bright aromatic candles and place them in different directions of your room. Place fresh flowers along with them to spread different fragrances in your room. Since Holi is the festival of colours, change your bedsheets to bright, colourful and vibrant ones. Team them up with equally colourful cushions and pillows to complete the look.

BathroomWe always underestimate the importance of decorating the bathrooms. But not this time! Place vases of fresh flowers in your bathrooms and change the dull coloured towels with colourful ones that are really catchy. This will complement the festivity of Holi.

KitchenThis is the place where all the delicious Gujiyas and other snacks are made! So, you definitely can’t ignore this area of your home! To start with, make a pretty Rangoli on the entrance of the kitchen to catch everybody’s attention as they enter! You can also decorate the kitchen with small decorating items like paper-buntings, paper motifs etc.

Living roomsHere comes the most important place to decorate! Why? Because this is the first place your guests will notice. Change your curtains to bright and colourful ones and see it transform into a Holi-ready party place instantly. Wall-hangings can also help greatly to liven up the living room. Apart from this, a really easy way to make it look attractive is to decorate fresh flowers petals in beautiful crystal bowls!

Terraces and lawns These are the places where most of the people host Holi parties because Holi is preferred celebrating outdoors. First of all, you can decorate the patio with Rangoli, which should be bigger in size than the one you will make in the kitchen. Also, you can keep the Gulal in colourful plates and the water in colourful vessels! Hang festoons and paper-buntings here also.

Let’s not worry about getting anything spoiled as Holi arrives only once a year. So, turn the Holi-Party mood on!
