About Yamuna Expressway
The Expressway connects Greater Noida to Agra and was launched way back in 2012 starting from Greater Noida, with 6 broad lanes which is extendable up to 8 lanes. Established purposely for the tourists to visit Taj Mahal in Agra, it is constructed to provide shortest route to Agra from Delhi and vice-versa.
Objectives being fulfilled by Yamuna Expressway:
• Minimize Greater Noida-Agra travel time
• Connecting main townships/commercial hubs on the Eastern side of river Yamuna
• Traffic congestion relief on NH-2 (National Highway -2)
